Policies and Procedures


• A deposit (25%) is needed to schedule and secure your appointment. The remaining payment is due at the time of your session.

Your deposit has only 20 minutes of my time. If you don't show up after 20 minutes, your session is completely canceled and for a time-wasting reason, all deposits are non-refundable.


The session fee covers the cost of the photo shoot.
It does not include any finished portraits like prints unless otherwise stated.
Hair and Make-up are not included in your session fee. You can pick your own makeup artist, or I can get a makeup artist for you, and you will be responsible for her charges.

If you want a creative shoot, talk to me first to check what stuff you need for the shoot. It may / may not cost you extra fees.

Please arrive on time! It is to your advantage to be on time and ready to start the session. Starting late means you will have fewer images to choose from. If you are running late please be courteous and call ahead - based on availability we may not need to reschedule. Preparation time in the dressing room & late arrivals will count against your session time.


A parent or guardian MUST accompany anyone under the age of 18. No shoot will be done to under 18 clients without the presence of a Parent/guardian.


Makeup artists/ Hairstylists are welcome on set; however, we don't have a waiting area for friends who will not be part of your session.

Please limit personal assistants, other family members, or friends to one individual. Having additional persons present is very distracting for those being photographed. This is especially with your friends who act like they know everything about everything, I need your full attention on the camera rather than looking at what is going on around you.


Parents, it is your responsibility to keep your children under control during the session. If your child chooses to constantly act up and be disrespectful, we will have no other choice but to stop the session. If the session is stopped due to this reason, there will be no refunds! Also, please keep watch of your children around lighting, backdrops, etc. We appreciate the playful nature that children possess. However, playing with the equipment is not permitted due to safety and cost reasons.


• In order to provide the best service, no other photography (including videography) may take place during the photography session as this can interfere with lighting, create unnecessary distractions, and shadows, and even ruin a perfect image opportunity. Therefore, upon working with me as your photographer, any and all other photographers and videographers, professional or otherwise, will not be allowed to either interfere or dictate photography during the contracted time.

If you want behind-the-scenes pictures or videos, feel free to ask.


If you are not satisfied with your images, please say it during the session. A re-shoot will be done or scheduled at no cost to you.

If a re-shoot is desired, images from the first session will be deleted and no longer available for ordering. If you are displeased with the re-shoot, the session will be terminated and your session fee will be refunded with no obligation. All images will be purged after a session fee has been refunded.


A $20 rescheduling fee will be applied to all appointments IF a 24-hour notice is NOT given. This applies to all sessions. If you are a no-call no-show - a $20 fee will be required in advance prior to your next session booking.


We’ll start the photo viewing right after the photo shoot. The selected photos will be retouched and ready to be delivered within 5 business days.

• Never will I release RAW image files! Unless on some reasonable deals. RAW files are unedited and unfinished images, therefore, do not accurately represent my brand. It is vital that I deliver to you only my very best work. Giving you unedited shots (the "RAW files" / unedited images) certainly does not reflect the finished product. I don’t think some people understand this.

Selected images will be color corrected and lightly edited for presentation. Anything beyond that is considered extensive retouching and is subject to an additional artwork fee.

☆I strive to make all of our editing as natural as possible☆

•For the time spent and resources used, there are NO REFUNDS on completed images.


The photos will be delivered as digital photos. You will receive an online gallery link, or I will just email you the photos, and some of my packages include a flash drive where I will load your photos. This will be within a given period of time (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph) but mostly it's within 5 working days after the shoot.


On-location shoots can not be used for parties and events.
Please be aware that outdoor sessions may need to be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. I can not control the weather. I will do everything in my effort to look ahead and let you know if there is bad weather coming on your session day and help reschedule you.
If a permit is required to conduct a session in a client’s desired location, the client will be responsible for obtaining the permit and any costs involved. Multiple locations will incur a fee per additional location (unless otherwise agreed).

Travel charges may apply for long-distance location sites. Please check to determine if your location of choice will bring any charges.


• Dreams and Visions Studio has the right to use any images taken by them for use in their portfolio and promotional advertising.
D&V photography understands that some clients wish to keep their images private. If privacy is requested, the client's wish will be granted, Once requested, Dreams and Visions agrees to not use the client’s images for any public use including their website portfolio and any online or print advertisement.


• In the event you need another copy for any reason, a small recovery fee will be charged. This must be paid before looking for the session.
